This was really quite excellent. Fast paced and enthralling, I was captured from start to finish. I really enjoyed the mystery in this, and the way you slowly brought all the pieces together. It was a great puzzle, and one that was so enjoyable to try and put together along with the characters.

And, you fixed that mess with Lian!! And did so in an extremely plausible and interesting way. It wasn't a cheap magic wand, but really came off as being an understandable alternative to canon's explanation and follow up to the events. I loved how portrayed all the damaged members of the Arrow family (and the Bats, mustn't forget their issues!). Each of their faults, lingering guilt, and hurt was relatable and so well handled. As much as I felt the characters were right in their distrust and discomfort being around Ollie, I also felt for Ollie, who still is a good (but flawed) man and is trying to make things right. You really delved into the dynamics of the Arrow family, and played with just how dysfunctional they are. Yet there's still so much love and concern for each other there. When Roy made his appearance, I was elated and so pleased to see how you handled him. His emotions were powerful, and so impacting. His fear for and relief at reuniting with Lian was just so beautifully portrayed.

I thought you also did a great job exploring the relationships within the Bat-family. The complexities between members, some of which have little trust for some of the others, was really handled well. And I thought you did a brilliant job teasing out the dynamics between Jason and the family. The distrust, yet yearning to have Jason return to the family, was excellently conveyed.

Another thing I must commend you on was the relationship between Conner and Jason. You really sold this well here. I came into this story without reading the previous story, and I could get right into things. Their relationship was believable and realistic. Things weren't all hearts and flowers, and it was good to see the areas where they disagreed highlighted, as well as their methods to overcome these disagreements. It added a great element to this story, and really made this pairing an interesting one to follow.

Truly, this was just a fantastic piece. And I'm so glad you shared it with us, and that you saved Lian! Excellent job to you both! I really enjoyed this tremendously.

Muahahaha.

No, but seriously... thank you for commenting, especially with such a long comment. We put a lot of work into this story, and we're so glad to see that it turned out so well. <3
