Author sign-ups are officially closed!

We have a total of 81 story sign-ups for our first year, which is really, really exciting! Artist, beta, and cheerleader sign-ups are ongoing - if you want to sign up there as well, or know someone who would like to do so, head on over to the appropriate post and sign up (artist and beta/cheerleader).
If you signed up as a participant, you need to be a member of the community. We sent out invitations to everyone who didn’t join the comm on their own during sign-ups, but sometimes those invites get lost in your spam folder or get eaten by LJ or something happens, so if you’re not officially a member of the community at this point, join the comm. All of the check-in posts and reminders will be members-locked, so if you’re not a member, you won’t have access to vital information along the way.
Authors, if you mentioned that you needed a beta, we encourage you to head over to the beta sign-up post and see who's over there! We are not going to assign betas to stories - if you need a beta, it will be your responsibility to get in touch with someone and figure things out from there. Please keep in mind that your story needs at least one beta, so it’s probably a good idea to get in touch with someone sooner rather than later, so you’re not dumping things in their laps at the last minute. If nobody in our beta post catches your eye, don’t worry! We’ll be posting more information on finding a beta in a few days.
Under the cut is a list of authors and author groups who have signed up to write in this year’s
dcu_bang. Please check this list. If your name isn’t on it and you signed up before the deadline passed, PM one of the mods so we can fix that ASAP :)
