2018 Artist Sign-Ups!

dcu_bangArtist Sign-Ups for DCU Bang 2018 Are Now Closed!!!
This year, there is one sign-up for artists, regardless if you are planning to participate as a solo-artist, be a part of a tandem team, or plan to claim a story later, this is the sign-up you will use! As the challenge progresses, you will have the opportunity to let me know which path you have picked.
(And make sure to read through the Full Guidelines here!)
Story rough drafts are due by August 21st. A preview of story summaries (which shall include titles, pairings, and any warnings) will be posted August 24th, so that artists can think about which claims they want to make!
Claims will open Saturday, August 25th at noon (Mountain time), at which time artists can make their first claim.
26 August 3PM (Mountain time), second claims open and artists will be free to make additional claims. Please do not claim more stories than you are capable of creating art for!
Claims will be done on a first-come, first-serve basis. Stories will only be available for second claims after each has been claimed once; same goes with third claims and beyond, if there are that many artists. Artists can claim as many stories as they are capable of creating art for. Do not claim more stories than you can complete art for!!! Artists are free to create more than one piece to accompany any story that they’ve claimed, but each artist must create at least one thing for each claimed story.
Claims will close on 1 September, and no more artist signups will be accepted after that time!
Artists that have chosen to participate in tandem with an author:
Artists that have already signed up and created at least one piece of art for their tandem author are encouraged to make claims on stories, if they wish to do so and feel confident they can finish in time! Please do not claim more stories than you feel you can create art for.
Accompanying fanworks come in many different forms: vids, manips, traditional art, digital art, fanmixes, movie-style posters, podfics, original musical composition, and book covers have all been put forth as acceptable ideas. If you have an idea that isn't listed here, you can leave a message here at the Page-A-Mod post, PMluciferxdamien on LiveJournal/DreamWidth/Discord, or send an email to dcubang@gmail.com.
A confirmation email will be sent out no more than 48 hours after the form is submitted. Tandem Teams will be receiving a secondary email, asking to confirm their partners, just for double checking! If you do not receive an email after 72 hours, please contact me so I can see what happened.
